CSS has extensive experience undertaking flood studies, floodplain risk management studies, post-flood investigations and peer review across Australia. We have completed more than 40 government funded studies and our high rate of repeat projects speaks to the quality and timeliness of our work.

A key aspect of floodplain management is community consultation, and our engineers have expertise in conveying complex flood modelling outcomes to the community in ways that can be easily understood.

CSS is also an integral part of rural floodplain management, acting as the technical reviewer of rural floodwork applications submitted to WaterNSW over the past 4 years as well as providing significant input into the development of rural floodplain management plans under the Healthy Floodplains Project.
