Subdividing the DEM is a unique option to increase the resolution of the DEM in order to smooth subcatchment boundaries. Subdividing the DEM will increase the number of pixels by 400%. The number DEM pixels will be placed as per the diagram and interpolated from their surrounding neighbours.
