The 'Interpolate 3D lines' menu item will read 3D information from supported GIS files (e.g., 3D contours or TINs) and will use this information to assign elevations to blank DEM pixels. Note that the files will only be used to populate the DEM and will not actually be imported and displayed in the CatchmentSIM project. Only supported file types with 3D information can be used. If a 2D file is selected, no elevation values will be assigned to the DEM.

Also note that only Microstation version 7 files are supported. Version 8 files will need to be down-saved to version 7 format prior to importing into CatchmentSIM.
