Vector

Subcatchment outlets may be imported as polyline or line segments from a GIS file using the import subcatchment outlets menu option. After selecting this menu option you will be prompted to select a GIS file containing the subcatchment outlets. After importing the subcatchment outlets, you may wish to undertake Subcatchments >> Process Entire DEM to map the subcatchments for each of these outlets.

 

 

Raster

Subcatchment outlets can also be imported from a grid file where pixels are grouped into outlets by sharing a common value in the grid file. This is particularly useful if outlet have been exported from another CatchmentSIM project using the Export >> Export Grid Data option.
