The CSTalk Macro Language includes both user variables and project variables. User variables can be set manually or by dialogs / functions within a script. Project variables refer to data from within the project. User variables are prefixed with & whereas project variables are prefixed with %.

It should be noted that almost all Macro variables can also be used in the raster calculator and CatchmentSIM setup files.
